SHARING PERMISSIONS:
Permissions for sharing are twofold. After clicking the blue Share button from within a document, choose the option below that best fits your sharing needs: Private Documents Shared ONLY With Those You Provide Email Permission To:
Public Documents Shared ONLY With Those You Provide Link Permission To:
NOTE: Anyone With the Link is the most common public setting you will use. This enables you to post a link within an online course, an email, etc. After clicking an option other than Public, the access permissions will appear where you can choose Can Edit; Can Comment; or Can View. ---see this link for a visual--- |
SHARING FILES & FOLDERS:
Sharing files and folders is easy, and as is the case with most Google apps, there is more than one way to do it. Sharing Single or Multiple Documents:
Sharing Folders With Multiple Documents: If you have organized your Google Drive files into folders, you can share an entire folder with a group of students. The process is the same as above, but the location for sharing a folder is slightly different.
